  1. that exact same thing with the bon happened to me except i thought i was in the clear all the way. i started nursing school and i just graduated last may. when i applied to get my att i was denied because i did not reply to bon or do something they asked me to do.. because i thought i was cleared by the blue card. anyways i had to go through the whole d.o. process again and this time around they wanted me to do a chemical dependency eval.. which i did and they found nothing wrong.. and i just now heard i have eligibility order which will be another 4-6 weeks until it is final and mailed for me to sign then i will have to send it back. so just a heads up that you are not totally clear and keep in contact with bon
  2. i am in tx. the board made me see a psychologist for a substance abuse eval which he did not diagnosis me with any stance abuse disorder and he stated i was a low probability risk if at all.. so now i am just waiting to hear from the board.
  3. did you tell her that you paid for the enforcement review?
  4. I did they said that pretty much it was weird that I was given a blue card but my criminal background check was clear. i don't see how it was.. maybe because they are so old? I think all of the charges have been destroyed by the court because they have to throw them out so often. I told the truth on my application, statements, documents, etc... Idk it is all very confusing to me.
  5. I have a criminal history a DUI/minor along with No driver license in 2008, a MIP of alcohol in March 2008 which i paid of by community service, a MIC of alcohol in April 2008 the officer also gave me a ticket of an MIP of alcohol but it was dismissed, No driver license in July 2008, a Theft by Check Class B Misdemeanor in November 2009, No driver license and unsafe speed for weather conditions in 2009, and No driver license in 2010. All of the tickets happened when I was a minor except the Class B Misdemeanor and two no driver licenses from 2009 and 2010. I have complete everything the court requested me to such as alcoholics awareness classes and community service for each fine regarding alcohol. I have also paid every surcharge. I no longer have to pay surcharges, and I have a valid driver licenses. I also do not drink at all. I was just stupid and irresponsible kid which is no excuse for my actions because I did them, but I would have not made the same choices today. With my more than average long criminal history, do you think the board will approve my for my licenses. I just graduated in May with my BSN. I did receive a blue card in the beginning stating my background check was clear, but then the board had sent a letter in mail I guess requesting more information. However, I don't remember receiving it and if I did I did not complete the requested information do to already receiving my blue card. However, my eligibility to test for the NCLEX was denied due to incomplete application. So I had resend a new declaratory order with documents and statements. Do you think the bon will approve me or???
  6. all they said was that it was 2 years ago they sent it. i think recieved my blue card at 4 months or around that i know it didn't take the full 6 months because i was surprised that it did not. i hope so, but another girl in my class had to do the declaratory order too but they just sent her an approval letter and not a blue card.
  7. Before I started nursing school I had to submit a declaratory order to the tx bon, then i received a letter in the mail saying i needed to send $150 for further review with the enforcement department. I did that. Then shortly after I received a blue card stating my criminal background check was clear. Now, I have graduated with my bsn.. so when i applied for approval take my nclex, my eligibility for license could not be processed due to incomplete application because my prior declaratory order was closed as no response on request. I called the bon and they said they had sent a letter in the mail but i never responded so my declaratory order closed after a year from the time i started it. I have sent in my new declaratory order and i am now going through the whole process again. However, i cannot remember receiving the letter from bon. if i did i do not remember what it said. my question is.. is receiving the blue card of criminal background clearance still approval from the board? and the reason my previous declaratory was not approved was because i did not respond to the last piece of mail or would i have been possibly denied even with receiving a blue card of criminal background clearance?
