I'm surprised too. Seems like Capital is way behind compared to Gateway. Here I was thinking I may have missed their call. Apparently not!?.. I gave up after hearing only one person has been called.

Update on Capital Community College's WL. -------------------- just responded to my email. As of now, only one person has been called off the waitlist.

Same here, been through a lot of challenges to get here. It has taken forever. Age and time is no longer on my side. If I don't get in, that's it for me. I'm diving into the IT field. All the best tomorrow ?? Emails are in!!!

@Monique C Mclean you have been so helpful. I recalculated my scores and have a 80.8%? Teas: 86.7 Nursing gpa: 3.38 ? API: B- My nerves are at an all time high hearing about how they look for 3.5 and above GPAs??

Your scores are great! You have a good chance of getting in. All the best.

Same here. I will retake some courses if I don't get in. Repeated courses replace your previous grade only if the current grade is better than the previous. They go by your best grade and your best grades are calculated into your nursing gpa.

All the best! You should apply to both if that's possible.

@Monique C Mclean your grades are awesome! You will definitely get in. I was looking at getting into Goodwin this year but after taking 4 classes this spring, they put me in a whole lot of financial mess. Goodwin is not for me, can't afford them.

@increasedmonoamines thanks! I'm leave the rest to fate. It's too late to do anything about those grades. If I dont get in, I'll take AP1 and Chem all over again. Those are the two courses affecting my gpa. I will apply to CCSU too, who knows.

Unfortunately I have taken all my prerequisites. All I can do at this point is retake my teas and get a higher score. Do you know if AP I is included in the total nursing gpa calculation or it stands alone for the 25%? All the best in your remaining classes and your teas.? I pray we get in.

Oh ok. The problem is i don't have my prerequisites. Im hoping I would get admitted and be made to take them at cnr before the main nursing program. They called me and suggested i apply as a 2nd degree appliant because i already have a degree in Arts. Do I still have a chance? Is it possible I'll get in and take my prerequisites? My head is all over the place lol. Thanks for your time shonta. And yes they never answer the phone so i can ask them all these questions.

Hello guys, i have applied to four cuny colleges for fall 2015. I had my school send my transcript to W.E.S. for evaluation since i had my education outside the united states. I've got friends from my country who applied to Cuny and gained admission through the WES method. CUNY is however telling me that they do not accept evaluations from WES and never have. Im so confused. Anyone having the same problem? Please help.
