  1. That was my overall average for the year. I was confident that having over a 90 average would seal me a spot. I'm still hopeful though, maybe I will hear back in June. If I don't hear back in a couple months, I may appeal my application for reconsideration. From my understanding, the Ryerson site is more competitive - with a cut off average of 86-89, where as the George Brown site has a cut off average of 80-84. At this point I don't care which campus I get in to...I just want an offer! You are applying under re-admission? Were you previously in Nursing or another program?
  2. Hello, I applied to Ryerson's Nursing program as well as the Ryerson/George Brown Nursing program. I applied with a 3.8gpa from George Brown. My high school average was 85. Today I got waitlisted. I applied to both these programs last year and got declined admission, so I went to George Brown College for a year to bring up my marks. Nursing is extremely competitive, and I'm doubting my chances of getting an offer. Oh the anxiety!
  3. Hey, I applied to the George Brown/Ryerson nursing and the Ryerson nursing programs. Today I got wait-listed. I have a 94 average and met all academic requirements, and even had hospital volunteer experience. I am also very nervous and scared that I'm not going to get in.
