  1. Hi everyone :-) I'm currently in my mental health rotation and i have to conduct a 30 minute patient teaching to the residents on my clinical unit. These patients have cognitive deficits, mostly of dementia which makes this a little more difficult. So far my peers have done a nutrition teaching where the patients drew at best what foods you should eat on a paper plate with crayons, and an exercise teaching involving wheelchair exercises you can perform sitting down. I was thinking of a craft to evoke feelings or some sort of sensory stimulating activity. But I don't know what. What are your ideas? Any help is much appreciated. Thanks bunches. :-)
