  1. GA Scope of Practice

    I've read the Nursing Act published by the State of Georgia but it honestly doesn't address LPNs at all. It addresses RN, APRN and CRNA. There is no scope of practice defined by Georgia which is unfortunate since we have no clear guidelines in which we are allowed to practice. Even the "Decision Tree" that was put out by GA has the first step as referring to the Scope of Practice which is non-existent. I'm facing a very difficult issue at my present job with an RN that basically acts like an LPN is too dumb to do any nursing activities. Trying to determine my role in the practice has been brutal.
