Hey everyone! Good morning! Because I'm so "persistent", I called the Advisor again at North Harris. She told me that System Office has not sent out the sorting list for any of the campuses and they don't have a deadline to release it by today. She did say it could be today, maybe even next week - they just don't know. I can't believe I'm saying this, but I highly doubt that they'll have that out today. I want to be optimistic, but then the sad reality sets in that we're on their time. We have no choice except to wait for their decision.

I just spoke with the NH Department Director and she would not give me any information AT ALL. I swear she talked me in a circle. I'm so confused and frustrated with this whole process. The NH Nursing Advisor, Juanita Garcia, is apparently off today, but the Director said that they have someone else in the office who'll be sending out notification letters. Trying to stay sane through this is only the work of God!!

I've taken both A&P courses and Micro. I'll probably take Pharm in the program.

Sokrys, I'm so glad somebody understands what I'm going through!! I can only imagine how difficult that was with your situation in Louisiana. God definitely has a way of working things out, especially when it's your purpose in life. We will make it in! I just know it!

I'm trying my hardest not to lose my sanity over this!! I don't think the fine folks who are processing our apps really understand what kind of limbo we're in right now. I won't speak for everyone, but I've been waiting for the moment where I could apply for the past FIVE years!! The struggle has been beyond real. Getting into and passing this program is one my life's goal and I'm so ready to be the nurse I know that God destined me to be. Please tell me I'm not alone?!

Hey everyone! So, I just spoke with the Interim Department Director at North Harris. She stated that they are in the process of sending out notification letters for the Transition program; once those are completed, then they'll start working on Basic. She wouldn't say it outright if they've received applications back from the System Office, but I have the feeling that they have. Hopefully, we'll all hear something next week.

My husband just told me that they're going to closed tomorrow as well. This is agonizing! I know it's a necessity though. They have to put the safety of the students and faculty first.

Lone Star is closed today, so I highly doubt that we'll receive notification letters. [emoji22]

I got into CyFair's LVN program as well!! I'm super nervous too because I really wanted to pursue my ADN at North Harris. I pray to God they are able to get letters out before the 19th!! I believe any school you submitted a paper application to will send you a notification letter as to what their decision was.

Yeah this waiting period is excruciating. I actually called the North Harris Advisor today and she told me the same thing Catherine did. The campuses have no control over the selection process; system office handles that. She also said there was an increase in applicants for Basic Track, due to HCC not accepting students right now. I think we're going to have to prepare ourselves for the end of April before we receive letters. I'll be praying for patience for everyone!!

Unfortunately, I don't know. I tried asking the Advisor at North Harris and she did not give me much information. All she said was, "you should be receiving notification letters in April via My Lone Star email." How vague is that? Lol. Hopefully, we'll find out sooner, rather than later.

Got an email from the Advisor at North Harris. She said they'll be sending out notification letters sometime this month, which everyone already knows. I thought I would be able to get more information out of her.

Yes, it does start in June. I was very puzzled to know why they would wait until May to send out letters. And I am right there with you. Every time I check my email, my heart starts to race like I'm going to pass out. I'm so over this feeling lol.

That makes me feel a lot better! Thank you so much for sharing this information. I was thinking the same thing about HCC. A coworker of mine told me that HCC only requires a certain amount of courses to be accepted into their program; Lone Star requires more. I'm really hoping that there isn't a major fluctuation in applicants.

I got an email from the Program Coordinator at Cy-Fair. She said notification letters would be sent out in April or May for the LVN program. May?! I feel a bout of extreme anxiety kicking in. LOL! I can only imagine how long it's going to take for notification letters to be sent out for the ADN program.

Hello Khelsea!! That is a really great score. I'm sure you won't have any issues with getting accepted. I hope the waiting period isn't too long though. That would be tortuous.

This is going to be a real nail biter!! I am praying for a miracle to happen with my ADN score, but at least I have the backup plan with the LVN. I'm praying we all get in. Fingers crossed!! [emoji51]
