  1. I just found out I failed and it's ok because I was too relaxed when studying. So now I'm just going to review saunders everyday for content. Actually finish ATI and get a green light on it, and plan to take Kaplan, and hope that helps me pass the second time I take it. I'm aiming to retake my NCLEX by mid July, wish me luck.
  2. Lucky. For some reason VATI didn't work for me. My school required us to pass the ATI exit exam to graduate, The score needed to pass was a 70.6. I passed back in March and just walked for graduation on 5/17. I hit benchmark on all categories for VATI except peds, and I took the comprehensive predictor but didn't pass. I got a 65 but we needed a 72 to get the green light. I already scheduled by NCLEX, and didn't want to wait two weeks to get the green light so I took my NCLEX on the 15th. Sad to say, but I don't think I passed. I got 223 questions, and my name hasn't popped up on the CA breeze website. My friends that took it after me had their names pop up, so I'm just going to assume the worst, and just try harder next time. Congratulations though!
  3. Since California is so saturated and wait lists are like 5 years long. My school is a popular nursing school (Not going to name names) where if you can pass the HESI, and somehow get loans and a cosigner you can get in. If you start from scratch though, it's going to cost over 100k overall. That's why we get a lot of people who easily get in and fail out. I had my classes transfer so I was able to jump into nursing core and skip general ed right away. Nursing core is no joke since it's an accelerated program with 9 week terms, a week off then on to a new term. People started to get weeded out in the 4th term which was intermediate med surg. I actually failed in that term because I didn't take it seriously. I just graduated this past weekend, but it's crazy remembering the nursing core orientation with about 110+ people, then looking back to March when I finished nursing with 56 people.
  4. Your post gave me hope. I took m NCLEX on 5/15/15 and just walked for graduation on the 17th. I still haven't gotten my results, and my friends that took it on the 14th, and 18th had their names show on the CA breeze website. I'm certain I failed. I went up to 223 questions and had a bunch of SATA's and so on. My school used ATI, and we had to pass our ATI exit exam to graduate. I passed my exit exam back on March 27th, and was enrolled in virtual ATI. I pretty much hit benchmark on all the categories, but didn't pass the final predictor which we needed a 72% on. I got a 65% and didn't want to wait two weeks to take the predictor again since I already scheduled my NCLEX between that time. So I just read all the rationales and retook all the assessments on ATI, and did about 1000+ questions on NCSBN's question banks on my friend's account. I also retouched on some stuff on the Saunder's book, and did a bunch of questions from there. I'm pretty devastated, but all I can do now is just laugh it off and work harder next time. No excuses. Good luck on your future career, you're going to be a great nurse. Reading your post just gives me motivation for next time. Thank You
