  1. While pursuing your prerequisites, you want to know what prerequisite classes are needed for the schools you're trying to apply to for the nursing program. As far as your Cs, yes retaking them is a must because applying to nursing school is a competition. The higher grades you have (ideally As), the more chance of you getting into the program.
  2. Yes, I'm a current pre-nursing student at UNR and living in Reno, NV for 15 years. I agree, they might not give me direct answers but to wait if I get an acceptance or denial letter. I believe application for Spring 2016 cohort will open this summer. It's nerve-wracking to think my 4.0 will not be of use to me.
  3. Thank you for your quick reply. No, I didn't graduate my high school in Nevada. How about 2nd degree is that gonna be an advantage?
  4. Any tips in applying to nursing program at UNR? I have 4.0 GPA so far; however, I heard that it doesn't matter if you have good grades. You can still be denied even though you have a 4.0. Any input will be very much appreciated.
