Hello, I am new to this site and so glad to have found it! I applied, interviewed on Saturday, May 2, 2015, and received a verbal notification on Friday, May 8, by the Program Director that I did not get accepted but instead was put on the alternates list, a.k.a., the waiting list, and if accepted, to start this Fall semester 2015. Just wondering if anyone out there has heard, applied, or been accepted/waitlisted (or denied) to this nurse anesthesia program. Fairly new, it became affiliated with Florida State University Panama City just recently, and will start its first class of 24 students this coming August 2015. It took over Gooding Institute of Nurse Anesthesia after voluntary closure in 2013. Stats: 60 applicants interviewed in the span of 2 days, Friday and Saturday, May 1 & 2, 2015. 24 accepted in the first round. Among the 36 not accepted, unknown number of how many were placed on waiting list.
