There is a Jeff state Nursing Pell city fall 2018 group too

My email was from the Nursing Campus Chair for the PC Campus.

I got accepted into Pell City with 41 points. Congrats guys.

Guys I'm so anxious Im nauseous. Good luck everyone.

I'm with you girl. I also was talking to some people that started at Shelby last Fall and they said that out of 60 they only have 13 going to the 3rd semester. That really freaks me out. I know nursing school is hard, but 47 out of 60 not making it really scared me.

Ok. That is good. I wonder if 38 was the original cut off and then when people didnt accept their spot it went down to 35 or lower or if there were exceptions. I was just told 38 by my advisor, so that def doesnt mean it was for sure.

Yeah last year the cut off for Fall was 38.

I have until the 13th to accept Wallace. I'm really hoping we hear back from JSCC before then, but I have no idea about orientation there. And Jeff State has a nursing page on but it hasn't been updated in years

I got my acceptance to Wallace State today! It is my 2nd choice. Hoping we all find out from Jeff state soon!

Vivo, is that in order of your 1st 2nd and 3rd choice? I had 41 points too, but applied for Pell City, then Shelby, then Jefferson. Eek. I'm ready to find out.

Per their Facebook page, Wallace State mailed out acceptance letters today. Hopefully Jeff State will jump on it too! The mandatory orientation for Wallace is the 19th of this month, so I'm hoping and praying we all know about Jeff State well before then!!

I tried to post this a minute ago... with a lot more details. But it didnt post. Yall go read the Jeff state fall 2017 thread. They didn't get acceptance letters until mid June. The lowest points I saw accepted were 35, but even someone with 47 points didnt get accepted in their first choice. Just their second choice. I hope it doesn't take that long for our acceptance letters to come out, and that we get our first choice of at all possible.

Ok guys. I dont want to be a Debbie Downer, but has anyone stalked the Fall 2017 Jeff State thread??? They didnt start getting emails until mid June, and it looked like NO ONE in the thread got their first choice. There was even someone with 47 points that got put in their 2nd choice. It was really disheartening reading it. I think there was one person with 35 points that was accepted though.

Kcarter where do you love girl? PC was my first choice too. I'm in Moody. And yall they are definitely working on the apps. I got a call today from someone at the Shelby Campus asking about my last name (This is an old username from my first time at Nursing School at Wallace in 2015 and 2016 that I had to withdrawal from due to some fam issues). But anyway, she just told me that "It is no issue right now, we will be gracious, but if you get accepted into the nursing program you want everything right going forward so go pick up a Change of Name Form and get that filled out as soon as possible!

What Block did everyone register for? I am Block C... It was the only thing that still had openings when I went to register.

It didn't say yet. But according to the Wallace state department of nursing facebook pages all letters should have been recieved by yesterday! I would call and check on it!!!

I graduated from Thompson! But back in 2006. Small world!

It was just in a letter envelope. One was a letter with dates and times for orientation and one was something you have to sign and send back accepting your spot.
