  1. Brandy - so happy that you are out nursing. There is so much stress and politics involved. So not rewarding. Keep doing what you're doing and you will get your self and happiness back. I only have 4 years until I stop working, and I can't wait.
  2. I have been a RN for 20+ years. I am so sorry that I chose this profession. Over the years, I have been giving more than 100% with not much thanks or appreciation. There is some, but not enough to make this profession rewarding. Now that I can retire in a few years, I know I no longer want to be a nurse (actually knew this 15 years ago) and would rather waitress like I did when I was going to nursing school. I am sorry to say this, but when I meet anyone who is in school to become a nurse, I want to say DON'T DO IT - but bite my lip.
