  1. I just want to know if it's a good idea. My whole life I have been off and on with what I want to do with my medical career. As of right now I am pursing an associates degree for nursing at my community college. I'm also going to be applying at other colleges. Although, sometimes the wait list may take forever to accept me because I have seen many others struggling to get in. I had one friend who had already obtained a bachelors in something else and got accepted into a program right away. Would it be stupid to get a bachelors degree in biological sciences? Or should I just keep waiting until I get into the program.
  2. I just want to ask everyone how they feel about accelerated nursing programs? I plan on applying into nursing schools next year, but I am scared I will not get in right away. I'm not saying I am in a rush, because good things should never be rushed. I just want to know for a backup plan, if going into an accredited accelerated program would be a good idea. Any input will be much appreciated!
  3. Hi everyone. I am still working on my prerequisites to try and get into nursing school, but is it important for me to have experience BEFORE applying for the program? As of now I have no patient experience. I have volunteered at a hospital, but of course there is no direct patient contact.
  4. Hi everyone. I am currently in a community college trying to get my prerequisites done. I've always wanted to something in the medical field and after changing my major a million times I realized that I would love to do nursing. I just want to know HOW competitive is it getting into schools ?
