Hi I live in wisconsin too. I graduated BSN in philz and wondering i i can take LPN test here without sending my credentials to CFGNS for evaluation since i'm not licensed yet.

Got it :) Thank You so much Silverdragon. Do I have to tell CVS or CGFNS that I will be taking NCLEX in Illinios but that is for NY State? Or it don't matter? But for sure I know i have to tell the pearson Vue that the Nclex is for NY state.

Hi! Thank You everyone for response. If I were to send my paper work now to CGFNS would you recommend to send my credential to cgfns and at thesame time submit my application for newyork State BON? Or CGFNS first and wait for CGFNS evaluation/Response before applying with NY BON? Because I Called CGFNS and was told by one of their representatives that CGFNS will send the result of evaluation directly to NY State BON. So what's the best thing to do? Send the application for both CGFNS and NY BON or CGFNS first and wait till they have the evaluation results then apply for Register for NY State BON?

Hi Everyone! I just want to ask about taking NCLEX in newyork? I live in Illinios for 3 years now and I'd like to take Nclex exam however when i called the Illinios BON they said that i need to have Philippine license but i didn't take the exam when i was the philippines. I heard that NY don't require philippine license and only needed is the copy of my transcript of record from the school and was told to fill up form at CVS CGFNS website and pay $390. My question would be is, can I process CVS application and NY State application while i am here in illinios or i need to be in NY and need to have NY address? We will be moving to NY by next year. Any Idea on what's the best thing to do? Thank You,

Hi Silverdragon102, I called Wisconsin BON and was told that they don't need philippine license all they need is certification from Cfgns. Wisconsin BON told me that cfgns will decide if they will let me take NCLEX even if i don't have Philippine License. I called CFGNS and was told that i need to speak with BON about it as they only evaluates credentials. So i don't know who to talk to. For those whi have same issue as me please share your experience. Thank's!

So I really can't take Nclex at al and pursue my career as nurse here? How about take nursing class here in wisconsin? You think it's a good Idea?

Hi Everyone! i'm new here, i live in wisconsin and for those who live here who came from philippines and work as nurse i just wanna ask you all if there's a possibility for me to take Nclex exam? I don't have Philippine license as i didn't take it, but i wanna pursue my career as nurse here in wisconsin but i don't know how and where to start?
