  1. BA to BSN/MSN options

    Hi everyone, Im doing some research for a friend and I hope you can help! She's a straight A student and was in a prestigious BSN program. Life happened, and she got sick (diagnosed with gastroparesis) and had to take a leave to get that under control. She went back to a program with all new staff with a completely different mentality, and the program was being completely overhauled. She was treated unfairly and told she needed to "prove herself" after coming back from a medical leave. It quickly became a toxic environment and she was advised by a counselor to switch majors, graduate with a BS, and take a different route to becoming a nurse. What options does she have? Interested in others thoughts on BS to ADN versus BS to BSN versus BS to MSN. Also interested in program recommendations for either track in California. Looking forward to hearing from all of you!
