  1. I spoke with Alicia Garcia in the CON. 843-792-8515. The emails some from her.
  2. Not sure if there is anyone out there who still has not heard anything, but I just found out today I was accepted to the DNP-AGNP program! The emails were not coming through to my gmail account and the outgoing snail mail at MUSC can sometimes run slow. So, if you haven't heard, you may want to call or email!
  3. Thank you for posting this information
  4. Keep editing because what I'm saying isn't coming out right. I didn't think about it that way. Which program did you apply to?
  5. I haven't heard anything either. I guess maybe now we'll have to wait until Monday?
  6. Congrats! Anxiously awaiting news from the DNP program!
  7. I started as a new ADN grad in the ICU in 2006. At the time, most of the area hospitals had new grad critical care programs where they would accept 1-2 per graduating season. Not sure if it's the same now as I don't work in that type of environment. I had done an extern program at the hospital while I was in nursing school and spent 4 weeks in the ICU. By the time I was done, I was pretty much in for the job and I loved that experience! It really was a great first job for me. Overall the other staff was really supportive and invested in helping us learn. I'm not sure if I was just really lucky or if many others have had the same experience in that type of environment. Also, this was a general med/surg ICU in a smaller hospital, so that may have helped.
  8. Thanks for the update!
  9. I just emailed Enrollment Management and was told the DNP informattion will be sent out via email and snail mail the week of March 26.
  10. Hi Katie, To which DNP program did you apply? Best of luck to everyone!
  11. Great! Good luck to you! Can you tell me how many AGNP DNP applicants there were? That was the program I applied to and would love to be kept up-to-date on the progress of that program.
  12. I remember seeing that. I wonder how she got access to it.
  13. No mine was 1/15. Supposed find out mid March.
  14. Hello. I also applied to MUSC for Fall 2018, but I applied for one of the DNP programs. I am also really nervous - good luck to you!
