  1. @rowrowyourboat Hi there! my status is still pending. I tried to contact those at the nursing office but no one was there. I don't have any helpful info except for my online status. What is frustrating is the real reason that I 'm not qualified (age or degree or else). I even got to think that they guess my age (39@@) is not competitive compared to other 20's or early 30s applicants or my degree is statistics (not bio) I 'm very sorry that I can't give you tips that are helpful for you. I only applied to U of A so my chances were slim. But if you try with more options, good luck with you next year.
  2. Congratulations! ! Can I ask a question? Is your degree international or from Canada? Mine is international and I'm afraid it could affect admission decision Nursing advisor said it takes mre time to evaluate international degree. My gpa is a bit over 3.6 and applied way early but still pending. I'm hopeless now I don'tknow what went wrong. Am I missing something? Does any body else know any news?
  3. @jamay10 I just called nursing faculty but they didn't say a lot about me. The big difference of me from you is my degree is international. They say they are processing now and since my degree is international, it would take more. Anyway just calling makes me patient. Thanks
  4. @jamay10 Congratulations to you. I appreciate your sincere concern . You mean it would help I call Nursing Faculty itself. Do they know more than what is said on the my u of a online account, which says "decision pending". Frankly speaking, I'm running out of my patience. I'm thinking Lpn at norquest or macewan 2016 winter intake (which would be more competitive I guess) Anyway, I will call nursing faculty. Did you just ask what your status is regardless of what is said on online account? Thank you jamay, again :) Hope for everyone else who are waiting.
  5. @jamay10 I'm in the same boat with you. U of a is the only one choice for me (kids and husband's work). I feel exactly same with you. Since decision takes way longer than expected,,I wish I could hear back from school either way(admitted or not). I also have three kids(10,7 and 5)@@ and am concerned with my age(probably the oldest in the class ) I'm thinking other ways (lpn or MacEwan in Jan) I hope everyone also hears back soon.
  6. @enzhou @jamay 10 First of all, my status is still pending I also applied so looooooong ago in January. my ielts score was lastly updated May 1. I'm tired of waiting and checking beartrack. Did you guys apply only u of a? Or else? one day I was hopeful the other day hopeless.. I know what you are feeling. Crossed fingers for those waiting. . Lately I started to think other options like Lpn. Cheer up for everybody..
  7. For those who got accepted,.. When did you guys apply with final transcripts? So nerve wracking...
  8. Hi all. First, congrats to all who got accepted! And a question to eatyurmakeup. What is the total number of entrance (after degree) for last year (2014)? Do you know what the final GPA cutoff? I applied in January but it took almost two months for my international degree to arrive and be updated and sent my ielts score in March and it was updated in April finally. . But still haven't heard back yet. sooooo worried. My GPA ia around 3.5. Is there any hope?
