  1. The list she was going to send us of immunizations can be found at http://fiuexpress.com/FIU_ClinicalRequirements_Checklist.pdf
  2. All that I was instructed to complete per the acceptance email was the background check. I haven't received any further word about the drug test, fingerprints, and immunizations but I'm hopeful that they'll give us that information at orientation.
  3. I would call the CNHS office and ask beforehand because metered parking can get expensive, especially if you're there all day. If they aren't much help, contact the Department of Parking and Transportation at 305-348-3615, they may be able to answer your question better than the nursing office. Parking during the summer isn't usually very strict because the amount of students on campus is significantly less, but I wouldn't risk it. I'm sure that they should be able to accommodate transfer students who have yet to receive decals.
  4. Has anyone received word about what we do after the criminal background check is completed? I want to get all of the paperwork done already!
  5. I just received my acceptance email, I am so excited to meet you guys!
  6. For getlikeamy: I called the office for a third time this morning and the woman said that not all decisions have been released and they should finish emailing everyone by next Wednesday.
  7. Honestly, I have no idea and I didn't think to ask.
  8. I called the office again this past Friday and asked for clarification about the decisions because I still hadn't heard back either. According to the person at the desk (not the same person who picked up when I called last time) the only decisions that went out where for those who were conditionally accepted. All other acceptances, denials and wait list emails are to be sent out within the next two to three weeks. Hope this helps!
  9. I placed a call to the CNHS and the woman at the front desk kindly told me that they were still working sending emails, so if you didn't receive an email yet, just hang tight.
