  1. Well, I feel your pain. I have failed the AANP twice and ancc once. I will sit for the ancc again next month. I've done everything: Fitzgerald, APEA, Exam Edge, bought practice exams from both certification bodies. Now, I purchased Leik for my Kindle. My last AANP attempt was yesterday. I was honestly surprised that I didn't pass. I felt confident. Will be interested to see my score. My ancc exam, I scored a 347....3 points away. Close, but no cigar. I feel that the exams are not 100% entry level material. So....what to do.....keep pushing. I'm thinking about getting some CDs, but I'll have to buy a CD player! Fitzgerald offers mp3 courses, but that's another $400. I know my stress level plays a huge role in my not passing. If I take a benzo, I'll fall asleep. I pray and take a break every 50 questions or so. I cannot give up. I could work as an FNP today, but that darn exam. So, right now I need to find a job (part of my stress) to help pay for my retakes of the FNP and study materials. Good luck my dear! I will keep you in my prayers!!!!
  2. I feel the same! I'm not stupid and studied well. Hebrew.... Is that what that was?!? I'm studying hard. Probably 5-6 hours a day. I have a ton of stress right now and know that I pushed myself too hard in getting it done. I've recognized what I need to mentally overcome and what to focus my studies on. I appreciate everyone's kind words. Honestly helps me so much. Thank you!
  3. I took my FNP boards yesterday and sat for the AANP. I failed. I am devastated. I have been reading other comments from others who have failed and have ultimately passed. I did the Fitzgerald live session and the APEA (Hollier). I've been studying for the last 3 months. I'm lost. I am currently unemployed and guess I will have to look for a RN position until I can pass. My husband says to not study today and to take a break. Yeah right. I'm so type A personality that I have chest pains right now. I guess I am looking towards studying the familynpprep.com or the nhinstitute.com study courses. At least the nhinstitute's ceu's count toward the 15 ceu's I need to retake the AANP. I have also signed up for the ANCC. I've been a RN for 15 years. My background is ICU and Administration. Maybe the ANCC would be more suited towards me. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you.
