  1. For my university, their policy is if you score a 5 on the AP test you will receive credit for that course. I still am going to take it though just because it will not hurt and the more I know the better a nurse I can hope to become in the future :)
  2. My nursing advisor got back to me and explained that my ap anatomy and physiology class from highschool passed as the requirement because I got a 5! She told me I'm covered but I can still take the class if I want to. Sorry for all the confusion. I feel so much better having it all sorted out. Thank you everyone!
  3. Yes, I am providing patient care ans conducting assessments. I have done clinicals at a nursing home and a local hospital. Thank you for clarifying a correq and a prerequisite, I'm going to take the class without a doubt because I am realizing that it is so critical especially from everyone's opinion. Thanks again :)
  4. Thank you everyone! I am going to take it this summer and really focus and get a good foundation for medsurg. Thank you :)
  5. Hello, I got accepted into nursing school two semester ago and am on the deans list. I am doing really well and love nursing so far. My only concern is I did not take one of the prerequisites and I was going to perhaps take it this summer for peace of mind. It's anatomy and physiology and I feel like a lot of other classes really do tie into it. Do you think that this is necessary or am I just being stupid? Do you think I could get in trouble for taking it?
