Got a job at a nursing home but not sure if i should take it
Thanks LadyFree28 I will do that because I need the experience and it has been a year since i graduated and so far every interviewer asked me the same question. Why didn't you work and when I say I traveled back home for 5 months they seem relieved. I need to get in somewhere. Thanks again.

Did not pass NCLEX PN for second time...
Don't give up. I failed my first time and because I was reading materials and doing very little practice questions. The minute i found out i failed after crying for 2 days I picked up myself and put the books aside and opened my laptop. I registered with Kaplan and did only practice questions. 6 weeks later i retook it and nailed it. Passed at 75 questions. As i was taking the test all the questions looked familiar. Just keep practicing and don't give up. Good luck

Got a job at a nursing home but not sure if i should take it
Hello friends, I need advice as I am in an dilemma. I graduated last year and went back home for 5 months so of course when i came back 3 months ago all the jobs were taken. I applied everywhere except for nursing homes but after your advices and family as well i gave it a shot and now Im offered a position. Last week I went on 4 different interviews with top hospitals in my area which was a dream come true. And one them asked me to come back a second time so I have hope that something will happen there, but it's only hope. My dream were to graduate become an RN, work for a hospital and join a masters program in 1-2 years. Working in a nursing home was not the plan. I would like to ask you people what advice do you have for me. Im also thinking of coming clean with the lady who hired me today and tell her that i might quit if any one of the hospitals call me. Please let me know what you think. Im sorry for the length but wanted you guys to get the picture. Thanks

Graduated for almost a year. Can't find a job. I'm worried
Hello Nurses, I am a new member and i graduated last May and passed my boards in September. I have been looking for a job since and nothing so far not even an interview. All of my classmates found jobs, I don't know what to do. If this happened to anyone please let me know before i lose my mind. I spend hours on the computer applying for jobs. Please give me some advices, anything will be great. If there are any new nurses out there please tell me how you did it. PS: I live in New York. Thanks
