  1. I didn't get one (for the BSN) either. I'm guessing they don't give out confirmation emails in general. Thank you! I just wanted to make sure because sometimes my computer can be unreliable haha.
  2. After saying "yes" to the informal nursing response form, did anyone get a confirmation email? Just want to make sure. Also, I have one friend who got accepted and has decided to go to either Sacramento or Long Beach instead. I hope that reassures somebody on the waitlist here!
  3. That's okay! Thank you again and I wish you the best!
  4. You're welcome. Honestly though, good luck! I'm wishing you well :) And oh, I gave you my info on the "SFSU Fall 2015" thread but here you go anyway: Overall GPA (including prerequisites): 4.0 TEAS V: 82.7% Fluent in Tagalog and some American Sign Language CNA certified 200+ hours volunteering at a convalescent hospital and a phlebotomy lab
  5. Hello emhagen, Although I got accepted, I have a few friends who were denied. The email went something like this: "On behalf of the Nursing Admission Committee, I am sorry to inform you that your application to the BSN program for academic year 2015-2016 has been denied. We received more applications than we can accommodate for 56 highly competitive spaces..." and so on. This person in particular received this email on April 29th. I would absolutely give SFSU a call as soon as possible if you still have not heard back by now. I know that if someone is admitted past the deadline to register (May 1), they have 2 extra weeks to decide whether or not they want to attend the school. Good luck!
  6. Hi! Thank you so much! To answer your question: Overall GPA: 4.0 Prerequisite GPA: 4.0 TEAS V score: 82.7% I am also a certified nursing assistant and I have put in hundreds of hours volunteering at a phlebotomy lab and a convalescent hospital.
  7. I could be wrong about signing up for the nursing orientation, but you do have to respond to the link that they sent with the email regarding whether or not you will confirm your spot in the program. (If you got accepted) Are you going to the transfer orientation as well? I just wanted to make sure with somebody if we have to attend both orientations. Good luck and congrats to everyone!
  8. To those who have already accepted the offer of admission: do we sign up for both the transfer orientation and the nursing orientation (sign ups not yet available until late June, I believe)? Is the transfer orientation mandatory? Thanks so much.
  9. Thank you! I wanted to submit my intent to register (online) ASAP, and the option to accept admission finally became available today (at least for me). So excited! Congrats to everyone too, and good luck to those on the wait list!
  10. Did anyone get the acceptance letter/email for the campus itself, though?
  11. Got in for Fall 2015! I can't wait to meet you all!
  12. Overall GPA: 4.0 Prerequisite GPA: 4.0 TEAS V score: 82.7% + Certified Nursing Assistant and about 200 hours of volunteering Good luck to everyone, and I hope we all hear back soon! And if anybody is curious, a friend of mine got his provisional acceptance for the nursing program at SJSU today. Apparently, CSU East Bay does not get back to the nursing students until after May 1, but that's just what I heard.
