Lol this school has to be the most unorganized/unprofessional nursing school. Taking months to get back to students which causes them to miss other deadlines, what a joke. I've seen students with lower stats get in compared to students with better stats. **** THIS SCHOOL. Don't know what they do on the admissions table.. Nonetheless goodluck to everyone else. Peace!

How did everyone study for their teas? I used the ati study guide and also purchased their tests but it didn't seem to help all that much? Any other sources to study that actually work?

I understand that but that does NOT give her the right to be so rude, I'm sure the ones still waiting are just as stressed esp. because they keep giving false hope that we'll hear back by a certain week. Besides I've asked her for help in the past and she had the same rude attitude.

I called today and asked Elizabeth(faculty member) when we'll hear back she replied back rudely with "when decisions are made." I don't think we're going to hear back this week.

Hopefully. I was told we'll hear back by the end of this week, 2 weeks ago.

I'm still waiting. I called UTMB today and they said it's going to take another 2 weeks for the rest of us to find out

I think some of us who interviewed in July are still waiting on a decision.

I was stuck in a complicated situation I took my teas 3 times my 3rd score was the best however most schools only take the first two test scores. Utmb is the only school I know of that doesn't look at that so that's the only place I applied.

Yeah unfortunately. No I haven't been accepted yet, got put back on hold after my interview.

To be on hold generally means that UTMB could accept you, but they're keeping their options open to find stronger applicants. I applied last fall and was put on hold and later denied so it could go either way. Hope this helps..

Hey yall! So just wondering if anyone's in a similar situation as I am. I found out my application is put on hold all because of a 62 in the science portion of the teas. I did decent in all other subjects and scored an overall of 73 on the teas. My GPA is a 3.7 and science GPA is also a 3.7. Hope my science GPA somehow balances out my science score on the teas. My question is has anyone or anyone you know been accepted or denied with a GPA/teas score like this? Really worried :/

Unfortunately it's possible to be interviewed and not accepted or waitlisted but from what I've heard most students who interview get accepted. Hang in there!

I interviewed July 28th and haven't heard back yet. I was also told I'd hear back by the end of August..hang in there!

Did anyone get accepted with a teas score in the low 70s? I made a 73 and am a bit paranoid now with all the students scoring in the 80s.

@Dfalck3 I was asked why I want to be a nurse, what my study habits are like, what I'm currently doing, and she asked me to tell her a little bit about myself.

Just interviewed today and it didn't go too well because I was so nervous. Anyone know how much they weigh in on interviews when considering an applicant?

Does anyone know if it's mandatory to score a 65% on all sections of the teas? I retook mine and scored a 73% with a 65+ on each section but the science. I received a 62 on the science, will they deny me based on this?

I think they're finished with interviews, but not too sure. Don't give up, call them and find out why you haven't been contacted yet, hopefully they'll give you some info.
