  1. I agree with the posts above. If the course already gave out the specific book you need for the class, you could get it right now and go over it before the semester starts. I took Intro to Chem(Not sure what Chemistry class you're taking) and A&P I, along with two other classes, in the spring term. Chemistry wasn't as stressful as A&P I, in my opinion. Whenever I had A&P 1 and Chemistry test on the same day, I would study Chemistry first just to get it out of the way and then put all my studying time into A&P. Beforehand, you should get a general knowledge of the organs and their functions. As well as the muscles and their functions! I put them on flashcards which helped a bunch.
  2. Hi guys. I am fairly new to this website. I'm still learning and this is my first post. I know nursing is extremely competitive now a days. That's why I'm worried about my B's in A & P II in both my lecture and lab. I got an A in all of my other courses. Those two classes were my first B's. I am taking Microbiology in the fall and will be working hard for the A's. If I get A's in microbiology, then my prerequisite GPA will be 3.86. I plan on applying to Uni South FL next year, do you think I still have a good chance of getting accepted into their nursing program? I know some suggestions would be re-taking the class, but I looked into their website and they look at "first-attempt grades in pre-requisites". My Anatomy Lecture teacher told me I was going to be fine, but I'm not sure. What do you guys think? I need your opinions.....
