have recently taken my NCLEX-RN exam in California as a BSN graduate, but I graduated from India (the board of nursing in California allowed me to test for my RN license in the United States). After 75 questions, I feel I did so well, as if the test was extremely easy! (It was my 4th time taking the test, btw. The first three times I didn't take the test seriously, but this time, I committed myself). I try the PVT (trick) on the Pearson Vie website, and the pop-up stated my test registration was on hold. I heard rumors and stories of test results being "on hold" due to things like brain dumping and cheating, neither of which I have done (though I don't understand why brain dumping is bad, I didn't start writing in my whiteboard until the exam began). The lady on the phone via Pearson told me that I am not eligible for quick results and have to wait 6 weeks for my results because I graduated from India and took my exam in the United States. Thing is, the last few times I have taken the exam and I failed at 75 questions a piece, I was informed I failed within 48 hours to a week. This time around is the very first time I am seeing an NCLEX test result being "on hold". I feel I did well on this time's exam, but I can't believe anything until I see results. The fact that I had to wait 6 weeks is frustrating, not to mention I have high anxiety levels in the first place. Any words of wisdom and comfort? I'm really nervous about this. The fact that I have to wait 6 weeks for a result, pass OR fail, is inducing a little panic for me. Any words or knowledge on this will help. Thank you!
