I have. You can get it done at your primary care’s office. The school requires a two step TB skin test. You’ll get the first one done and read within 72 hours and then repeat the process in 3 weeks. Most nursing schools and employers require them

University of South Alabama BSN to FNP Fall 2020
I think we’re in the first ‘wave’ too. I had a 4.0 GPA and applied in early January as well. I'm not sure there are many schools left that actually find clinical sites for students. Even my local B&M schools don’t do it. Students are expected to network and find their own preceptors. I’m OK with it. I learned early on in my search for NP programs that most schools require this step of students.

Thanks everyone! I was was told accepted students have until April 29th to accept or decline, and then the school has until July 31st to utilize the wait list. I hope they let us know asap, the waiting is the worst part!

Hey ya'll!! I have been surfing allnurses.com looking for some glimmer of hope for myself! I applied to a local CC for an LPN program starting this fall and was wait listed ...I was told I am #1 on the list but I can't help but worry about the chance I won't get the offer to start this fall..I know the ADN programs normally have some drop outs/decline acceptance situations, but what about LPN?
