I renewed my BLS last year at Rescue with CPR in Daly City. It's $75 per person or $55 for a group of 6. The instructor was very knowledgeable and fun which made it easy to retain all the info. Any one who lives around the area should check it out!

Alicia, You're right--It is something we should be concerned about. Hopefully they can give us more information during the orientation about the school's situation and how that will affect the program if it does lose it accreditation. I just received my acceptance from CSM, but I hear nothing but good things about CCSF's RN program and tuition is also way less than CSM. So, I'm pretty much set on CCSF because I'm very familiar with the school--I live close by and I've taken all my GE courses at CCSF. Did you apply to other programs?

Just wanted to clarify that this will not affect CCSF's nursing program. Nursing programs have a separate accreditation team that evaluates them. If CCSF loses their accreditation (which is unlikely), CCSF's nursing program will not be affected.

Congrats! The information packet is ready to pick up at the nursing department for those who got accepted. Fall registration started today for priority students and mine is tomorrow--so I would pick it up ASAP. When you drop by, they will also schedule you a time on May 11 for uniform fitting. Hey again Ada! Stumbled upon your post while doing some research too. I got my acceptance for CSM and I think I'll accept it so I can attend their orientation and compare it with CCSF.

I received a letter from Merritt asking to send a copy of my teas result yesterday. I am going to withdraw from the next phase because I'm pretty much set on CCSF. But wishing you all the best! I'll keep you all updated if I hear back from Chabot, Ohlone, and CSUEB.
