International College of Health Sciences (ICHS) - LPN to RN/LVN to RN Program
Hello Nurses! have been an LVN for 11 years now and I am looking to go back to school to become a BSN. I am from Long Beach CA, but I am looking into ICHS International College of Health Sciences in Florida. They have an accelerated LVN- RN course that I am interested in. I have to work I cannot find accommodating schools in California. Online will be my best option. I just paid my application fee and started uploading necassary documents to start the process. However, I do see a 7,000 fee for holding your spot in class. Is that mandatory? Also, I'm seeing people say that they do not accept finical aid. How are people paying for school? I'm beyond ready to further my career and become a BSN, however this school search is crazy! Anyone else looking to start next month? I do not want the price of school to deter me from my dream. I'm looking for others who are in this boat and may need to team up and help each other. If anyone has similar questions or answers, please reach out!

Depressed LVN
I graduated Nursing school in Aug 2013 and took my nclex Feb 2014. I passed nclex the first try and have had my License until now without a job. I live in Long Beach, CA and I apply everywhere. I fear my License will expire before I even get a job. HELP! Did I waste my money? I'm paying students loans on a career I feel isn't worth it. I'm so discouraged, I have a great heart and I am smart. I know I will make a good nurse if someone just gives me a chance. I apply everywhere, I spend countless hours at the library applying and I am just getting more discouraged by the day.
