  1. and as far as kaplan, did you purchase the kaplan book or take a review course with them? Im trying to purchase saunders and a few other books before school.
  2. Just got my E-mail. Nursing Information and Welcome Session Dec 4th at 10:00am.
  3. Oh okay awesome we are in the same boat. I have my associates with all the liberal arts requirements done and I'm taking all the sciences I can at SCC including micro this semester just to have even less when we get to FSC. @laurrri thanks for for calling them. I'm just trying to keep the mentality that even though it's three instead of two the NCLEX rate is awesome and I'm still better off financially then if I had gone to a private school
  4. @Dbella1284 are you still applying to stony brook? I was considering still applying because of the two year time span at SBU vs the three year program at FSC. But I honestly feel in my heart that FSC is where I need to be so I've been procrastinating in applying to SBU Plus I'm loving the fact that at FSC the campus is easier to get around and that the class sizes are a bit smaller.
  5. Thank you :) and no they just advised me to start handing in deposit, health forms etc. Did you get any updates yet?
  6. I called and I got in!! Just have to send in my final transcript. Congratulations to anyone else who got in and to whoever hasn't yet Please keep checking oasis. My fingers are crossed for you too!
  7. Oh okay and I definitely will :) btw congratulations!!!
  8. I hope they do. If not I'll defenitley be calling first thing tomorrow because the whole "prior conditions" thing is making me nervous lol by the way did you pay your advance tuition deposit yet?
  9. Wait does anyone's say "acceptance-prior conditions"? I dont know what this means
  10. Hey DBella1284, Not sure if they've given an exact date but they said they were starting to at least review our applications with TEAS scores this week. I may give them a call towards the end of next week if there aren't any updates on OASIS by then.
  11. My total composite was 76% and it says I was ranked in the 80th percentile nationally. Im not exactly sure what the requirement is but I believe they start at the 99th percentile or work down from the most competitive scores. All I know is my fingers are crossed and Im staying hopeful :)
  12. @gr321 I applied to Molloy as a backup and was accepted. And you're so right about that tuition cost. Getting accepted to Farmingdale would definitely be a blessing. And as far as the interviews go, I spoke with a gentleman from the admissions office last Friday and he said that this year they won't be holding any. Hopefully that means we'll be receiving feedback sooner.
  13. Hey all Ive also applied to the program for spring 2016 and just finished taking the Teas Saturday. Spoke with a woman today and she said we wouldn't hear back until they start reviewing next week. Hope we get updates soon!
  14. Hello all, Was wondering if anyone is currently enrolled in the Farmingdale Nursing program and if so how is it going for you and could you share some of your experiences(ex. class size, material load, accessibility to professors)? I'm back at a community college taking pre-reqs after leaving SBU as a former Bio major. Ive heard good and bad things about the school and have even visited the campus myself, but I really wanted to get an insiders opinion. Please Help!!!
