  1. If you want a really quick and easy English course I took ENGL177 through athabasca which worked. However I also wrote to admissions to get their confirmation and uploaded thst email along with my transcripts when I applied. Good luck with your application and excited for all of us starting this August!!
  2. Yes the STAR format is what I used as well for my questionnaire answers. it definitely helped me stay on track and using that format made my answers clear and concise. I highly recommend using this format as well for future applicants.
  3. Mine starts with D so I think you're right!
  4. Me too!! Now to get the crim check and the immunizations :) So freaking excited!!!! Congrats to all who got accepted and good luck to those who are still waiting!!
  5. So much related experience that's great :) If you're a paramedic now I am sure you will get accepted! I Keeping my fingers and toes crossed for all of us!
  6. No news here either I am stressing out! waiting has been so hard! I guess if we don't find out today tomorrow is the day!!
  7. hehe I bet we are all in the same boat :) I swear I check my BCIT email like 100 times a day, so I really hope we find out soon! Waiting until April 30th has been killing me, but its only a few days away now. Eek! Good luck to all!
  8. Thanks Cyrene! I did as close to 250 words per question as I could, but I went over thst limit on a few of them. It was very hard to keep them at just 250!? I also provided one specific example for each question. I'm excited for their final decision in a few weeks and I'm sure you rocked it :)
  9. Just completed the questionnaire isn't too bad, but I would definitely recommend reviewing all the links provided and coming up with as many examples as possible. I found the time constraint a bit stressful because I could have prepared a bit more beforehand; however, all in all its totally doable. I finished in the nick of time with 1 min to go :) @Rayanne I only applied to BCIT, but might apply to UBC if I do not get into the BCIT August intake. But fingers crossed I do!!
  10. Reading through all the links now and hoping to do the questionnaire tonight or tomorrow. I'll let you know how it is once completed, but seems like it's not too bad so we shouldn't be too nervous....although easier said than done :) Good luck to everyone on the questionnaire and I hope we all get in!!! Also, just wanted to say I'm so happy I joined this thread because it's been helpful hearing from everyone - we're in this together :)
  11. Just got my shortlist email as well so exciting!! í ½í¸„
  12. I am also curious when you submitted your application :) I applied to the September 2015 BSN intake on March 31, 2015, but I am still only at level 1 - pending department review. Hoping to get an update soon, but I figure it might be a few weeks. Fingers crossed!
