  1. Are there any hospitals that have new grad residency programs in your area? That's what I'm in right now, coming up on a year in July. They are great for new nurses and require no prior nursing experience. A lot of the larger hospitals have programs like that for new graduates. Just apply to EVERYTHING that you can and be prepared to go on lots of interviews. I interviewed with about 6 different hospitals before I was offered a position so don't give up!!! Just keep trying. And every hospital has a different timeline and requirements. Some will do their hiring before graduation, and some won't hire you until after you've passed the NCLEX. It's just a lengthy process sometimes but try to persevere and stay focused. You've made it this far and everyone had to start somewhere. Best of luck to you!
  2. GN2015, who did you call? I've been trying to call the recruiter (---------------) since last week and she NEVER answers. I left a voicemail on Friday as well. I'm hoping to hear something by Wednesday so I can make a decision!
  3. Has anyone heard anything back about a job offer? I am still waiting....I was offered a job in L&D at Memorial Hermann Southwest but I REALLY want NICU I wish they would get back to me!
  4. I received an email invitation last week to interview with the NICU!!! I'll be going this Wednesday, super nervous and excited! :)
