  1. Lab question- please help!

    Hello, I have a lab question I am wondering if someone could help me with...2.5 year old sick on and off for a year with URI's, high fevers, rashes, N&V, lethargy, pallor, night sweats...Her most recent labs indicated low lymphocytes, low abs lymphs, high ESR, high granuloyctes, and high immunoglobulin IgM. (Also, her lymphocytes have been dropping for 1 year and granulocytes rising for 1 year.) I am confused as to the cause...I know both granulocytes and lymphs fight off infection, but what is the significance when all put together? Also, I thought if there was an active infection that the lymphocytes would be high and not low? Thank you so much for any assistance you can provide!!!
