  1. Accepted!!!! Woo hoo! Did anyone get a response yet after sending the confirmation email back to the nursing dept?
  2. Hey SilleeA! My appointment was at 9 am on the 14th. Were you wearing brown scrubs by chance? lol
  3. Yay so excited! I also had my appointment and everything looks really good so just looking forward to receiving an official acceptance and meeting you guys in person. I was also told that the orientation is 4 days long. I believe it is June 14-18th(don't qoute me as this is subject to change and I asked for childcare purposes). As far as the question about retaking the HESI, it cannot be retaken for a better grade unfortunately. I wish you all the best of luck and have a good day!
  4. Not sure what the points cut of is, but maybe try and call to see more info. It's stressful have you heard from any other schools? Or did you only apply to Mt. SAC?
  5. Did you check your Mt SAC email? Some people were only checking their personal email.
  6. I concur with lizy01. I also spoke to K Clark (the main point of contact) and verified there is indeed a list of 120. They will pick the top 60 and the possibility of an alternate. There is no wait list with the point system. You are given your number on that list and told where you stand and the statistical probability of getting in or not. In May they will know the confirmed 60 spots and send letters of acceptance or not.
  7. I know its stressful SilleeA but do not despair. I am sure there will be some positive news. Mt. SAC is my first choice as well since I too did all my prerequisites at SAC. My appointment is the 14th so hopefully we all get good news! Lord knows this whole process is so stressful and competitive.
  8. I'm sure you are fine. Good luck!
  9. They send out that many due to the background checks and the possibility of accepting other schools. I was told that it was too close last year so this year they were more conservative. I believe the cut off was 74 but you must verify with your counselor.
  10. I also received this email and it is a bit confusing in regards to whether its transcript verification pending (then accepted) or another criteria with qualified applicants, then they decide. I left a message for K. Clark and hopefully we can find out soon! That would be amazing if I got in at Mt. SAC! Good luck and let us know if you hear something sooner! update: I just heard back from K Clark. and they sent out this email to the top 120, and there is a pool of 60 applicants that they will be choosing from. Depending on your number (i.e 1-120) will determine if you are in the program or an alternate. Also consider that people may accept different programs other than Mt. SAC so the "acceptance" into the program may be different in regards to top 1-60. Once you make your counseling appointment, you will find out more information.Best of luck you guys!
