What would be a good hospital unit to transfer to for CNA that has had 8 months of experience at an assisting living facility. I want to apply but dont know what would be the right unit to transition to with my prior experience at the assisting living place im at

@blessingo thank you for the reply i am not really intrested in the ER when i become i would like to be in the NICU but for right now that im only a CNA i am just looking for some where in a hospital that will be good for me at the stage of my educational level process the available opening for this one.hospital are for the following units: acute and ortho/neuro. I just dont know which one would be a good transition from being working as cna in an assisting living for only 6 months

Hi, I became a CNA last March and I been working at an assisting living for about 6 months now. I love where I work. I think I am doing pretty well for the short time that I have had experience. I am still learning alot. The things I need to work on is my speed a little but. But the reason I am typing this because I need help or at least some suggestions. As I mentioned I like my job but there is a few things i dont think is to professional about the company I work for but also since I am already in school finishing my pre class to try to enter into the nursing program I want to switch from working in an assisting living to a hospital. the only fear I have is that I am not a very strong person (physically) I am currently wanting to apply for a position at a hospital but need some feedback please. Sorry for all this long information but the main question I have out of all this is: as a CNA with 6 months of experience what would be the right hospital unit to transfer to based on my status at this moment?
