  1. Did anyone apply for the summer grad residency program?
  2. I've looked into virtually all the residency programs but still nothing.
  3. I live in SC but have been planning to move to the Atlanta area after graduation for some time. I'm a new grad RN (just graduated in May) with an ADN degree and every position I apply for is either "under review" or automatically denied. I've been an LPN for almost 3 years in an outpatient setting and I was an inpatient rehab tech before that. I've applied to every new grad opening and others that are listed as accepting new grads. However, there's always the dreaded "BSN degree preferred" and I can feel the life being sucked out of me every time I get yet another rejection letter. I even had a referral from an IT administrator to one hospital and still NOTHING! I thought my prior experience would at least count for something. Any other ADNs having this experience? Any advice is welcome!
  4. Does anyone know of any new grad RN residency programs that are still open for applications? Or any hospitals that hire new grads without residency? I know I'm kind of late in the game to be asking but I've been so busy finishing up my last semester of RN school (10 days left!) that I haven't done much looking other than applying to CHOA. I also live out of state so my school doesn't have any tips on applying to GA hospitals/residency programs. Thanks in advance!
  5. Anyone heard anything further or gotten an interview?
  6. Still waiting as well...applied 3/1 and status is "Application Under Review." I did notice they changed the cutoff date for applications to 4/16 where it was 4/1...
