So I just got an email saying a decision was made on my application and to check myUTH...but doesn't say for which one, so I'm assuming it's in regards to my summer'16 rejection. Would be nice if it was for my fall application and myUTH is just being slow lol! Probably won't know anything on fall until tomorrow I guess.

Yea, when I looked it had the red circle with a bar thru it and said "View Deny Status". When I clicked it, it had a lovely little note saying: "Your application for admission has been denied. Thank you for applying to UT-Health. We wish you the best of luck with your future endeavors." Nothing like a little kick in the side while still waiting on fall's decision lol. Still staying positive...everything happens for a reason.

Well it's official. I just checked my myUTH account and I have been denied for Summer'16 term. I wish everyone the best of luck who got accepted! I'm hoping for good news on my Fall'16 application still, but we'll see.

I'm in yall's boat too kinda depressing since I never heard anything for Summer '16 and nothing yet for Fall '16...trying to stay as positive as possible and not worry about it, but of course WAY easier said than done.

The summer '16 acceptances were emails/myUTH status changes. That thread has a screenshot of one of the people's acceptance emails. I'm convinced they just want to keep us in the dark on everything personally. Not even gonna worry or stress about it until I get the letter/email/whatever.

They said at their info session that both summer and fall term emails are sent out on April 15th. So I'll probably get the official rejection email for summer (and hopefully not fall too) on Friday. From what I've gathered, they only have so many spots available at first and then receive funding to open up more spots for the term. I'm assuming the "waves" were for the first available spots for summer. Don't know what's going on for fall, just going off what I've read previously.

@FutureRNValerie: No, I haven't looked into TWU recently. I had looked a while back and forgot about it. I'll have to check it out.

I've taken the TEAS twice over the past year for WCJC. I have a (going on) 2-yr old so I really don't have the option to apply to a lot of schools due to distance (UTH is already stretching it driving-wise, but the trade off for getting a BSN makes sense financially and time-wise). If I don't get in this cycle, I will have to apply to more ADN programs (like Victoria/Alvin/Brazosport/etc...I'm way down in Bay City) that are within a certain driving distance, as well as UTH again.

I have an A.A in General Studies with Business pre-reqs (was going to go for a Business degree but changed mind) as well as extra sciences/maths I took as dual-credit classes in high school and now nursing pre-reqs under my belt (all taken through the same college here in TX). This is my last semester of nursing pre-reqs and I've talked to a counselor at my school to see what I can do if I don't get in anywhere (applied to UTH and WCJC)...they said I have nothing left to do. If I don't get in anywhere, I don't know what I'm going to do Guess I'll just have to keep reapplying if worst comes to worst.

I took my HESI at the start of November and had applied for Summer '16 and Fall '16...so I had my first application turned in the same night I took my test. Submitted the Fall application after I was finished with Fall '15 semester classes at the college I'm at right now (so I could get my final grades on the transcript). Maybe they didn't need an evaluation since all of my classes are on their transfer guide (wishful/hopeful thinking in my part lol)?

Ok guys, I had emailed the admissions office on March 31st about not receiving a transcript evaluation. Kathryn Hundemer emailed me back saying that they do evaluations at the school's request and that they didn't request one for me (not sure if that's good or bad but doesn't give me a good feeling for some reason). She has emailed and called me before, so maybe she's assigned to my application? Either way, just wanted to share with y'all what I was told.

I emailed the main admissions email address. I have one of the admissions specialist's emails, but figured I'd chance getting a different person just to have another person looking at my info.

When I had called before the deadline (as well as after the deadline for extra clarification and peace of mind), the lady said it will say "Incomplete" if I have classes in progress and will not change until I send in a final official transcript, but that I was fine and had done everything correctly.

That's awesome! I applied last spring for Fall 2015 and was denied, so decided to continue with BSN-prerequisites. Found UT's Pacesetter BSN program and was sold, but kept WCJC on my "application roster" as well. WCJC does have an awesome program from what I've heard from everyone. I really want a BSN when all is said and done, but if I have to take the longer route, so be it. Everything happens for a reason.
