I took the teas a few weeks ago and scored a 74.7. I also took it this past friday and scored the exact same score! I was very discouraged because I thought I'd at least score a little higher. I did bad in science my first go-round so that's pretty much all I studied and I boosted my science score from a 50% to a 64.6% but for some reason my math and reading scores went a little down. Here's a breakdown of my first time taking the test: Reading- 90.5% and 98th percentile Math----- 90% and 97th percentile Science-- 50% and 75th percentile English--- 73.3% and 90th percentile Now for the second time taking the test: Reading-88.1% and 97th percentile Math---- 73.3% and 78th percentile Science- 64.6% and 93rd percentile English-- 73.3% and 90th percentile I think the problem is that I knew I had studied science so hard so I rushed through everything too quickly the second time. My question is..which one should I turn in with my application? Or does it really matter? For the program I'm applying to admission is just based on the top 30 teas scores. I'm applying to the lvn program at Blinn in Bryan and I'm in the 93rd percentile for the program so I feel like I have a pretty good chance of getting in.
