Yeah I was told we would get an email either way if we are accepted or not.... I'm not sure there isn't much information on Touro anywhere online. I've been looking for information or other people's opinions on the program and haven't found much.

Can either of you Jade or Jeanna tell me how you guys like Touro University? I am looking at applying for Summer 2015 but I have not been able to find much on the program. I would love to get your opinion on the program.

They told us it would be the same criteria for fall and now they are changing it so all the satellite campuses are RN-BSN or at least that's how it appears on the website..... I would love to say I am shocked by yet another lie from GCU but I am not at all. @scrubgirl88 it's not about not getting in it's about the fact that they have lied to us through the entire process.

Yeah from what I have heard (I don't know how accurate it is) if a school losses its accreditation while you are in the program you would pretty much have to start over unless another school accepted the classes you had already taken.... A 16 month program would be nice but not if there is a chance of it not being accredited. I have also heard several rumors about them possibly losing their accreditation. It doesn't seem like a risk worth taking unfortunately

I am also with D.flores and jsweet14.... After everything they have put us through and the lack of concern they have shown for their actions I feel like it would be foolish to roll my application over. I don't trust them, and the nursing program accreditation is almost up so I am super worried they will lose it. Especially after this and how a lot of the current people attending the program feel.

Its not surprising that they will not be giving the Summer applicants priority I never thought that they would.....It just goes to show how little they truly care about how they treated us.

They never have the answers for anything! My advisor didn't even know it was canceled until I told her.

I am sure there are people complaining about what they have done to all of us as well so that makes it even a little more scary.

Yeah well from the sounds of it they do not plan on doing anything to try and make it right for all of us who applied for the Summer. You would think that they would feel some sort of guilt or at least feel bad about what they have put all of us through but they honestly do not seem to care one bit.

Im glad that for the current students they are making sure that your guys needs are meet it would be even worse to hear that they were not taking care of the current commitments. However I think it is extremely unprofessional that they decided to tell us 4 weeks before classes were supposed to start that there would not be a summer program. They could have informed us that something was going on so that people who were pretty much told they would be accepted would be able look at other options. We have all been just waiting around beyond stressed out to find out if we got accepted when come to find out there was nothing for us to get accepted to. They have pretty much made it clear that as transfer students applying for the fall will be extremely difficult, I don't know about anyone else but I applied for Summer because that is when they accept the most transfer students.

They definitely don't care about us they have made it very obvious. They were going to make us all wait another five days to find out that they canceled the program! I agree that I think we should get priority in the Fall considering how they have treated us and how ridiculous the whole process has been....but I just don't see them doing anything like that.

I also applied for the summer program and also found out today they were canceling the program through the grapevine......I also got the impression that they were doing away with transfer students as well. After talking to someone at the school they seemed pretty unapologetic about the situation and didn't seem to even care about the fact that they have had us all sitting here waiting for the last six weeks only to find out the program was canceled. It sounds like if you are not a GCU student then your chances of getting in just went down significantly. Similar to Maycation it sounded like they are not going to be offering the fast track program anymore because the current students want a traditional track program meaning they get Summers off.
