Texas pretty strict
I am wondering about a good state to go to if I have a past, way before nursing that isn't going to make me do their peer assistance program. I'm okay with it isnt a hassle. I know why they do it but at the same time. I'd rather not be identified by my past non professional life. I decided to become a nurse because I care for people but at the same time I would never do anything to jeapordize my license or hurt any of my patients.

Cya basics
I was taught to chart that while working as a psych nurse assistant, what would be a better ending to put? Vitals? Once I started to chart that by habit almost putting it in a residents chart that bad gone home, I agree that it can be a bad habit,

Cya basics
One that was told to me from one of my instructors is to get someone between you and the problem whether it be a doctor or DON or Charge Nurse or whoever you can, i.e. "doctor blankity blank informed of condition" that kind of thing. And another one that was told to me was don't chart on a problem without charting a solution and what you did to solve that problem.

Cya basics
Hi, I was wondering if I could get a few cya tips from you guys/gals, you know, for us new nurses that are just graduating. I have heard to document but how do we become better nurses while using cya. Never do I want to be involved in a lawsuit where my chart ing comes up but if it does I want to be ready.

Why are you scared?
I hear nurses that have been in LTC say that they are afraid to lose their license.

Interviewing
I have a good reputation at my former job (I think) and they were going to hire me but I couldn't accept due to personal reasons.

Interviewing
Hi. How should a nurse dress for an interview? I don't feel comfortable being overdressed which happened at my first interview. (i got the job the second time in plain street clothes) How would an interviewer expect for the new nurse to dress? Dressed in scrubs. Plain street clothes. Oxford and tie or just something nice?

Research paper over Alzheimer's
Ok so I got this Research paper due and I was wondering if I could get some imput from somebody that has worked with AD patients. I have to make nursing diagnoses based on the 10 body systems in order that they are affected by the disease process. The ten body systems are: Respiratory Musculoskeletal GI Immune Cardiovascular Endocrine Urinary Reproductive Nervous Integumentary The main problem I am having is finding nursing diagnoses related to each system. Any input would help. Thanks
