  1. For respirations... I always took the radial pulse and then layed the arm on the patient stomach as if I'm still doing pulse but since I'm on top of them now I can feel the body rise up and down and can count without looking like I'm counting breathing
  2. Yep, mine had a specific number and then at the bottom of the sheet showed the range for immunity and if was less than a certain number not immune....
  3. I'm at montgomery... All they did was give a book list, go over uniforms, go over a tentative schedule, told us what classes to register for.... As far as books for montgomery... The bookstore said that we have to pre order them if you want the book pack. The lab duffel is available and it is 150.00

  6. I'm guessing the other schools sent out the same thing.... My email from montgomery has 4 attachments ... One is for the drug test and explains what to do, one tells you how to do certified profile, one is an intent to enroll form, and the last is about orientation. Did your email not have attachments at the bottom?

  18. I am about to look for a job at a hospital. I am wanting to work fri and sat nights while in school just for experience. Know if you guys are hiring? :) how much homework do they give? Are there a lot of assignments or mostly reading? How much studying do you do? Every night?

  21. In the other scoring box... So they had to do away with it completely and drop some of the classes off the degree program like statistics and speech.
  22. I was told by one of the nurse instructors that the state cracked down on them... An associate degree is suppose to be two years but it was taking people close to two years to complete all the classes to get a 4

  25. I picked montgomery as my first choice because 1) it is the closest to my house and 2) they had the highest pass rate last year out of all the lonestar colleges according to BON.
