Well I guess most of our questions have been answered now haha. Did you get the email today?

Ohhh I never thought about the HELP program being part of our clinicals. Well if that's the case, that makes me feel a little better. I do kind of remember now them saying at orientation that at the very latest we'd hear 2 weeks prior to starting. That's a good point though about learning the skills first, I really hope that's the case haha! I feel bad, in my desperation I emailed Betty Blazer last Friday about when we'll find out - haven't heard back from her yet but she's probably getting emails from everyone asking the same thing. I'm so happy you responded! I don't know anyone at Normandale yet (I'm transferring all my pre-reqs in from a different school) so it's not like I could ask other classmates if they had heard! Thank goodness for this site haha!

kjrice89 - Have you heard anything about our clinical schedule this fall? I think you're the only other Normandale Fall 2015 cohort person I've seen on allnurses.com so I thought I'd ask you haha. Do you know when we're supposed to hear? I'm getting nervous! I need to know for work as I'm sure other people do too!

I applied to North Hennepin and Normandale - accepted to both with a composite score of 12.03. (I was put on the reconsider list at Normandale initially, but then was accepted!) :) Hope you get in!

Hey just thought I'd update you! I just got a call from Normandale letting me know space opened up and that I have been moved from the reconsider list to fully accepted! She didn't say how many were on the list and they never told me what number I was on it, sorry :/ But, knowing that you and I had similar composite scores, hopefully that helps somewhat in your decision making! I'm sure both schools are great though! Good luck with whatever path you choose!

Hi HarperEvan! Congrats on getting into NHCC! I applied to North Hennepin and Normandale for Fall 2015...got into the day program at NHCC and got put on the "reconsider" list (I think that's the same thing as an alternate list..?) at Normandale. My GPA was 3.3 and TEAS score was 87.3....so you and I are around the same composite score. Obviously, each pool of applicants is different as far as competitiveness, but my guess is you'd have a good chance of getting on the "reconsider" list at Normandale as well (at the least!). Not sure if you're willing to risk it! I'll let you know if I get in at Normandale and I'll see how many people were on the list...and also how many on that list got moved up to a full acceptance! I'm torn on which school to go to (assuming I get into Normandale that is), I don't know much about the NHCC program other than their brand new Bioscience building. Good luck on your decision!
