im not sure im not smart enough for nursing...?
i've always wanted to get into the medical field. i took fire science classes and passed that pretty good. once i found out that i have to volunteer for many years before i can even be considered becoming a FT firefighter, i put that on hold. ive decided to try nursing. thing is.... im not SMART. i struggle in math. but do ok in other topics. i dont know what else i want to do besides medical, saving lives. sigh so should i try to go for nursing? i have no kids, no life really. ill have plenty of study time. how hard is nursing school? tougher than Fire Science aka firefighting school? (never got my EMT because i need to make a decedent living before i can volunteer the time i have..) Ill be taking CNA classes next month. dont have that yet.

should i call the nurse to netowork?
at my nurse delegation class for my NAR the rn there teaching the class said that she has a friend that is a flight nurse and after class i could get the number to talk to her friend. well after class i talked to the rn and she gave me her personal number and told me to call her and she will let me know if its ok to talk to her flight nurse friend. well over the memorial day weekend i didnt call because you know its the weekend. well today is tuesday and should i call? i dont wanna be a pest or annoying wanna be nurse. was she just being nice and hope i didnt ask or is this a good opportunity? i see it as a good opportunity to ask her/him questions. i would love to find a nurse to mentor me.

Im trying to get my CNA.Found a job as a Disablility support professional. The training im getting is a NAR nirsinf assistant registration. Is a Nursing Assistant Registration the same thing as a Certified Nursing Assistant? Before i attenwd training the forums on thos site said nar is the same as a cna. The trainer says its not. It goes as NAR, NAC, then CNA.

***Should i go straight for my BSN for RN? what should i get first?
i want to become a Flight Nurse. i recently got hired at a LTC facility as a CNA. I will start school this fall but i dont know what i should do first. I know i have to become a RN in the ER or ICU first before i can consider becoming a flight nurse. so whats the best route for me to get my RN? I would like to get my BSN or Masters in Nursing to become a Flight Nurse. Should i go straight for my BSN at a Washington University? OR should i get my LPN or AAS at a community college first? i want to gain the adequate experience hospitals are looking for. will being a CNA in the ICU give me the enough experience hospitals are looking for in RN new grads?
