  1. I talked myself into doing it and I got the "good" pop-up! At least I have hope! :)
  2. I took mine today and felt the same way throughout the test. My screen went blue after 79. I didn't have as many SATA as I had anticipated. Maybe 30% of my questions were SATA. I had one dosage calc. There were 2 or 3 that I was truly confident about. Most felt like educated guessing! How far do you have to go to do the Pearson Vue trick? It was about to let me enter my Credit Card and I backed out. I am afraid it will let me pay. I am going to go crazy waiting. Please keep us updated!
  3. Recent Nursing Graduates | Baptist Health | Jacksonville, FL It is my understanding that you must be licensed
  4. Re: There has been a recent change overall, however it's about the same, just classes named differently... Just wanted to throw out there that the classes are not the same. Concept based curriculum is structured around concepts (e.g. fluid and electrolytes) and which other concepts relate to those concepts. You begin "thinking like a nurse" at the very beginning. You read the information before class and apply that knowledge in class. You start with a basic knowledge of each concept and gradually build on that knowledge throughout the program. I am in the first cohort to finish the new curriculum. We graduate this December.
  5. That's the old catalog. The fall deadline is April 1. You can apply without micro.
  6. It was pretty crazy; having read the forums from past cohorts, and knowing they all heard back in about 5 weeks.
  7. We got our packets this Monday. The deadline to apply was April 1. Nearly 10 weeks!
  8. Honestly, I think your 192 will get you into the program. If it were 10 pts less I'd retake it.
  9. I've heard that you can breath if your points total 190+. Stalking the boards will show that 184+ is typical for admittance. Somebody said that this Fall's cutoff was pretty low @165. I got in this Fall (Evening/Weekend) with a 193.5
  10. Friend Karley O'Brien. She's admin.
  11. It's a closed group. You'll have to add somebody.
  12. Nights and Weekends! Yay!
  13. I am one of the last houses on the mail route
  14. Yay! Congratulations guys!
  15. I didn't get anything either. Here's to hoping they come Monday.
  16. No letter here either.
  17. Seriously?!
  18. I'm so excited and nervous! Thanks for confirming SoCal I'll be the last to know because my mail comes late
  19. Nights 1 Days 2 I can't believe they're still processing. I looked up the coursework. It looks as though they've overhauled the entire program. I don't know how that affects the application process though
  20. Did you check off on the paper for days/nights when you dropped your application?
  21. 144 seats for Fall and Spring (ea.)
  22. I am waiting for news from FSCJ so that I know whether to pursue employment with two companies. This is excruciating.
  23. I've stalked the past three cohorts' threads. None took longer than 6 weeks. This has been torturous.
  24. Hi Casey. If you get your hands on an application, you'll find a worksheet to tally the points. Stephanie
