I just got an email. I'm first on the alternate list which means that I'm more than likely in! YAY Hopefully at least one person out of the 90 will decline!

Congratulations on getting into Roane State's program! I spoke with nursing at Pellissippi and they will be sending out letters at the end of March. I still check my email often everyday lol! I wish you all of the best. I've heard the RN program is hard. I know two girls who failed the first semester and are reapplying for the fall.

No regretfully I didn't. My alternate plan is to go for LPN school and from there RN!

I have applied for the Pellissippi nuring program as well. I was an alternate last year and didn't get in so I'm very hopeful that will not be the case this year! Good luck!

I emailed the nursing department asking for an alternate list update. Pamela Schafer emailed promptly emailed back and said they are contacting alternates as seats become available. They will continue this through July 1st and if I don't hear anything by that date, I will need to reapply. Anybody heard anything different?

Roane State acceptance letters went out this week! There is a guy in my speech class that got it at Roane and at Pellissippi! He's so lucky lol! He told me he hasn't decided on which one he want to attend!

I spoke to (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) at Pellissippi and she said they didn't give out ranking numbers or the number of alternates because it discourages students. She did tell me that if I was an alternate, that it is highly likely that I will get into the program since so many students don't accept for different reasons. Speaking with her gave me hope lol. I agree. I wish they would be more specific about our rank and what our chances are of getting in.
