UT Health Houston DNP Fall 2021
Hello! I had received an email in January but there were no available interview spots for me at the time (they were already full). Then I received another email in February around the time of the storm and I completely missed the email. It wasn't until I thought "I haven't heard from them in a while" and went back to look and saw the one for an invitation for an interview in February. I wasn't able to schedule myself for an interview until April, which I just did yesterday. Any updates on your interview and application?

Baylor DNP Spring 2021
Hello again and welcome to Baylor, I'm happy for you that you were accepted! I had to sign up for an online Webinar that was last week where we went over some things, it was fairly short at about 30 minutes. I have been kept up to date from the Student Success Advisor Sara Smits as well as my Enrollment Advisor. I have been sent my degree plan along with my first trimesters classes and books required for those classes. Send me a DM if you need any contact information!

Baylor DNP Spring 2021
Hello everyone! I am posting this to see who all has applied and/or been accepted into Baylor's DNP Spring 2021 program. I hadn't seen any threads posted for this particular start date. I was accepted into the FNP program and would love to start "meeting" people!

Baylor 2020 DNP Program
I haven't even gotten a letter yet ? I can't log in to BearWeb yet, so I'm not sure if there is more information in there in regards to this financial aid process. Please keep me posted when the ball starts rolling so that I can see how it all works.

Baylor 2020 DNP Program
My enrollment specialist is amazing and has kept me up to date throughout the whole process. She would send me a quick text to check in about once a week to see if I needed help with anything even after my application file was completed and submitted for review. She also informed me that she would let me know if they had filled up for the trimester or if there was a waitlist and what the next steps would be if that happened, and to try not to worry because sometimes a decision isn't made until November. She kept me updated on my status herself on when it was officially submitted, when it was in review, and a cute text that she had exciting news for me first thing Monday morning. I would try reaching out to yours to ask about the space still available and how long it'll be until a decision is made. I'm sorry that you have not been updated throughout the process, I am sure that makes you anxious. I got an email from Baylor Grad School with "An admission decision has been made regarding your application" and a link to log in to see what it was (the application site), then the next day I got an email with the subject "Steps Needed to Complete your Admission" with a congratulations on admission within it as well. I got this over the weekend.

Baylor 2020 DNP Program
Thank you! I started my application process with an enrollment specialist in late August/early September and then completed all parts of my application about a month ago (letters of rec, SOP). I found out last Friday or Saturday. Any updates on your application?

Baylor 2020 DNP Program
I was accepted into the BSN-to-DNP FNP program for Spring 2021! Anyone else? I have a question about the financial aid process. I submitted my FAFSA 2 months ago but I haven't received any information from the financial aid office. How long did it take you guys to receive notification of your aid package? For those already in the program, is the workload manageable to continue working full time?

UTHealth Houston FNP Spring 2021
I asked about the rest of the process now that my interview was complete (today, I just finished like 20 mins ago! I was so nervous!) and she told me that I should hear back within two weeks. So that's probably their goal but from other people on here, they heard back within days.

TWU FALL 2015
Mr. D - It specifically says that you are not guaranteed entry into the nursing program even if you're accepted as a transfer student or already a student there. This is not new information. As for your experience with the Denton campus, that does not reflect on the Dallas or Houston centers. They do not have the same faculty that teach nor do they have dorms. It's unfortunate that your daughter had a bad experience at the Denton campus but it really holds no baring for the people applying to the nursing programs at either Dallas or Houston.

TWU FALL 2015
My teas was a 79%, gpa 3.93, previous biology degree. Can you take the TEAS again? If not, still apply. You never know.

ACC Fall 2015 hopefuls
I received my acceptance email during the second round of acceptances on May 4th. My ranking was 146/238 with it being my first application. I declined because I was accepted into TWU's BSN program. The second round students have until May 25th to accept/decline their spots. Thought this might be helpful information for those still waiting!

UTHSCSA Traditional BSN Application Fall 15
Jpcoher, let us know what you decide! If you attend TWU in the fall, we will be classmates. If not, all these lovely other people will be.

I am also from Austin and got into TWU Houston Center last month. Their NCLEX rate is a lot higher ~91% vs ~78% and the program has been established longer than UTHSCSA. It'd be a hard decision for me too, as both were my top choice. I already accepted TWU and I think I would have stayed with them even if I had gotten into SA. I think there will be more connections being in the Houston Medical Center. Are you leaning more towards one than the other right now?

UTHSCSA Traditional BSN Application Fall 15
@@ I have no idea. That's just what Brandy told me and it's weird that she would lie when I didn't even ask her that question directly. Just asked what I could improve (she gave the option for the people who were rejected to have her go over our apps with her and she'd tell us what was our weaker area) and she said I was close bc my TEAS score was a 79 and they didn't accept anyone this time with anything under an 80. That'd be a weird thing to lie about! "You were really close as the lowest TEAS score we accepted for admission was an 80"

UTHSCSA Traditional BSN Application Fall 15
I posted that on the thread earlier. It was in my denial email. I emailed Brandy and she told me that I was close but that they didn't accept anyone with a TEAS score under 80 this app cycle, and I had a 79.The 85.1 average is much higher than the other classes stats!

I'm sorry, btruehardt Did you apply anywhere else?

UTHSCSA Traditional BSN Application Fall 15
I believe in your waitlisted spot. There HAS to be at least 6 people who deny and go somewhere else. Sending good vibes your way and praying for you :) Also, let us know when you hear back!

UTHSCSA Traditional BSN Application Fall 15
I didn't end up applying to TX State but it would have been easy for me to go there considering I live in Austin. TX State's NCLEX passing rate is really high!
