  1. I applied for the Spring 2017 program too! Does anyone know when we should start hearing whether we got accepted or not? I am currently enrolled in Pharmacology and am loving it so far. All I have left to take is Pathophysiology and I plan on taking that next semester. I am partnered with a Baylor hospital and have a previous bachelors degree from UTA so most of my credits come from there. Hope everyone is having a great summer so far!
  2. I have a 3.5 overall GPA and a 3.75 science GPA. My HESI score was a 94%. I have a previous bachelor's degree from UTA and over 30 lower-division credit hours from UTA. I am also partnered with a Baylor affiliated hospital. I have all of the prereqs completed except Pharm and Patho. I will complete Pharm Summer 2016 and Patho Fall 2016. What about you?
  3. I just submitted my application for the Spring 2017 start! The HESI exam is honestly not that bad. I would recommend taking the math part or the reading part first, these seemed to take the longest. I bought the Elsevier HESI study guide and it help tremendously!! Has anyone taken Pharm or Physio yet? I am taking Pharm this summer (starts May 23rd) and then Physio in fall 2017.
  4. That is so cool!! Did you already register for your spring classes?? What professors do you have? Is the HESI multiple choice or fill in the blank?
  5. Hey everyone! I am getting ready to apply in January to start Fall 2016 in the off campus AP BSN program!I am actually taking my HESI this Saturday at 9 am and I am so nervous! Any advice on what the expect? I have been studying the Elsevier Admission Assessment Exam Review for the HESI. Do they provide a calculator for the math portion? I am currently registered to take Patho and Micro Spring 2016 and then Pharm Summer 16. Any advice for these three classes? I am taking them online through UTA. That is all that I have left. I believe I have 2 maybe 3 preferences and my GPAs are pretty good. Good luck everyone!!
  6. Hello everyone! I am getting ready to take my final handful of pre-requisites before applying for the online AP BSN program at UTA and need some advice! I am in need of a new laptop and can not decide what to go with... should I get a tablet, a tablet and laptop 2-in-1 thing, or just stick with a straight up PC laptop?? There are so many options and I don't want to make the wrong decision!! All of the RAM and storage talk has my brain spinning over here! I start technical writing 06/27 at UTA online and I am so excited to get going! I haven't taken any classes online through UTA let alone an accelerated course! Any advice would be much appreciated on classes and/or what computer I should get.. Thanks in advance! :)
  7. Danilu14 thank you so much!! The waiting game just makes me so crazy!! :) Good luck to you! Thank you for the words of encouragement!
  8. Hey everyone! I recently just decided to go back to school to work on my second bachelor's degree and found out about this cool opportunity at UTA to complete my BSN online! I am so excited about this journey but have a few questions for anyone who has started the application process or who has been through the application process at UTA for this program. I reapplied to the university and was able to use my old username and password from attending previously so that was awesome. After my application went through I had to send my transcripts from the community colleges I have been attending. Now, the university has received my transcripts but my MyMav says the application is still pending and that an academic advisor from the academic partnership is looking over everything for eligiblility. Does anyone know from experience how long this part takes? It seems like they have been looking over the application for a couple weeks now. Any help would be awesome :) thank you!! Ashley
