  1. I'm taking CNA training at a local Nursing Home. We start next week, with 40 hours class room, then 60 hours of clinicals. We won't get paid for the class room time but we will become full time employees of the nursing home before we start clinicals. With this program The nursing home pays for the test, as well as the training. I think its a wonderful way to get my feet wet befor heading to Tennessee Tech for LPN classes. Good luck! Amy
  2. I'm just starting CNA training next monday, hopefully (if we can get a few more people for the class to begin, we were supposed to start today but had people drop out at the last minute). I'm so excited! But I am planning on applying to Tennessee Tech. for their LPN classes as soon as I get my CNA finished. How many of you worked while going to school for your LPN? And is the nursing entrance test difficult? Thanks Amy
