  2. I'm in! anyone else out there?
  3. I was accepted to the LVNtoRN bridge! Best of luck to everyone and congrats to you all! Nursing is a calling and very rewarding! And hard work :)
  4. I have a letter waiting at home for me!! as soon as I finish seeing Mt patiento i'll know if I got accepted to the bridge program or not
  5. it could also depend on where you live maybe :)
  6. I had to email ecc about a change of address after I found problems with my mail hold on the 14th!!! she mailed me back like ok no big deal. so my assumption is the letters weren't ready to go out yet. that's just total guestimation on my part lol
  7. Fwiw, I handed in my application and they contacted me about something I needed to correct. But I applied to the rn bridge so there aren't nearly as many applicants.
  8. Turned in my application with 29 points. The wait will be long....
  9. That's good to hear. I'm getting worried because everyone I tell I'm going back to school makes me feel like my ADN will be a waste aND I really need to get my BSN. But I can't afford university tuition right now so this is what I'm going to do. Did you have any problems getting a hospital job? I'm desperate to get out of home health! Thanks for answering my questions before. It's great to hear from someone who has been there.
  10. Thank you for the insight! I did my lvn there too, but in 05. Was it competitive to get in. Were there a ton of applicants? Thanks again
  11. I do home health. Have never worked in a hospital.
  12. Hey hows everything going with you. Looks like ill have 29 instead of thirty points . I'm hoping by the lack of responses to this thread the # of application won't be too competitive lol
  13. I had to drop history because 2 fast tracks and keeping up with my one year old was too much. So ill be applying to my bridge with 29 points. I hope that drop doesn't cost me acceptance! If I am accepted the wee one will go to daycare so ill be able to study with a full load but online plus mommy all day wasn't working. I'm praying!
  14. I'm not sure when that coincides just yet. I doubt we have time off though
  15. We have one long semester by ourselves to prepare then join in the ADN regulars at there second year :)
  16. When I registered for May/summer it wouldn't let me start till 0800 @PD82. I was at my computer at 0700 to get a 1204 class :/ and I had preregistration privilege as a current student
  17. I submitted my docs to sentry MD and received my compliance status within 2 days. It took me forever to get it in PDF format because I'm a computer dope. But I did not want to wait until the last minute because I figured they are about to get slammed with applications. Good luck everyone! I'll be applying to the BRIDGE with 30 points assuming I pass my two classes that start tomorrow and I hope it is enough.
  18. I am! Nice to find another bridger. I joined in on the regular ADN Thread because there is really no bridge threads. If I pass my next two classes that start Monday, I'll be turning in my application on July 13 (wooosh) with 30 points. I've already completed sentry MD application and received my email confirmation that I'm in compliance. I work part time on the weekend in home health. Good luck! I'm applying at el centro only.
  19. Thank you and good luck!
  20. Derek it was pretty much straight from the Elvolvr Elsevier review book. Converting, ratios, percentage some simple math like addition and subtraction. The review book covers everything I saw on my paticular test.
  21. Yes Renzo13 my post is for the bridge but this thread is mainly for the regular ADN program. I just tagged along because there wasn't any bridge thread yet.
  22. I heard from El C and I definitely to not have to retake my hesi. I am so excited. I'll get 10 of the 12 points. I am not retaking it. I made 100 on the math and 92 on AP and I don't think I could pull that off again. I'm in 1204 and 1202 right now and 2 more classes start in June. I'm ready for July 13th, when I hand my application to the bridge in and can be done but hopefully only for 5 months!
  23. Were you wearing a here for the win shirt? I thought I saw you but I was so nervous almost sick I didn't want to spread my nerves lol
  24. Thank you luchy I studied like a mad woman for 2 plus months. I've sent an email to P. F at the health occu office for clarification :)
