2015 UF Accelerated BSN
Hello, I am new to this website and will like some input from students or potential students that will be heading to a accelerated nursing program. I have B.S. in Biology but have decided to pursue a career in nursing. My stats are as follows: 3.1 cum gpa ( I did horrible the first couple of years and it took me almost 7 years to get my degree) 3.3 last 60 credits 4.0 in pre reqs ( for accelerated nursing program) I'm currently working for a university as a research associate under an NIH supplement grant that was awarded to me. I have co authored 2 research papers but I am afraid that all of this will mean nothing to a nursing program. I have around 200 hrs of shadowing and will continue to do so until I apply. What are my chances of getting into a program? Is there anything else that I can do to strengthen my application? Thank you so much for you help!!
