    Good day Nurses! I'm a nurse currently working in the Middle East who just got hired by Newcastle NHS Hospitals. I'm informed that I'll be starting as a pre-registered nurse for about a month then I'd be band 5 after registration ( £21,000 ). Since I'm currently enjoying a tax free salary, I'm confused if I'll make this move or not. Can anyone tell me what would probably be my gross salary be minus the tax and rent and other expenses? Will the unsocial hours and weekend extra pay make a significance? Is there ever a chance of continuing education (Masters)? I'm really really out of my mind and torn between money vs professional growth. I can move easily to the UAE and get lots of money but wouldn't the health care system be the same? I'd appreciate any help.
