NCSBN NCLEX-RN Review (Failed first time)
Hi Guys! I am in the same boat.. I took my NCLEX for the first time and failed. I used Kaplan.. I did all the Q-bank questions and trainers. I also did some questions from Saunders, and Nclex mystery App. Now I am looking into buying the NCSBN review as well... is there a difference between 3, 5 or 8 weeks besides the time and money? Just wondering if there's any content or # of question difference.. Also, which one would you guys recommend? Please help! I just received my letter from BRN today and I was near the passing level in everything. Thank you!!!

Help passing NCLEX
I have the same problem. I did all the kaplan questions, read the book, did questions from saunders and nclex mystery app. But still failed my nclex on my first try. My instructor also recommended that i take an anti-axiety pill. I was afraid to take it before because I hardly ever take any medication. But since I can feel my heart beating so fast every time I study for NCLEX .. Now I am considering visiting my doctor as well. It sucks!!! I thought I was well prepared and was scoring above 55% on my kaplan. Before my test, I was told by my Kaplan instructor that I was ready. MAY BE my anxiety got in the way. Lets keep our fingers crossed and beat this monster!!!!! We got this!

Passed at 85 questions
Thank you for your post and congratulations on passing!!! I just took my Nclex for the first time and failed (I just paid the $200 and let me). I still haven't received a letter from the BRN. I did all the kaplan questions including all the trainers. I was scoring anywhere from 54-57%. I also did questions from Saunders because the content was way too much. I plan on purchasing NCSBN review now. I have heard about hurst but also heard that they provide videos. I rather read and do questions. Do you think it would help to purchase hurst for the questions as well? I am determined to PASS my boards the second time. I also know my anxiety gets really bad when it comes to testing. So i plan on going to see my doc to see if theres anything that can help. I am not a A student but I was a B to B+ student through out my nursing school. Hopefully, with more studying and prayers I can overcome this Monster AKA Nclex!

Nclex Misery
Thank you so much for replying. Gizelle22. I will go ahead and pay today. Also, I am going to purchase the NCSBN as well. Hopefully, I will have better luck next time. Is there anything else I should do besides doing questions? I also feel that I'm week in math and EKG strips.. any particular book anyone recommends for those? I tend to always get the questions in subjects I run from.

Nclex Misery
I took my Nclex RN on 2/24 and got 242 questions before I ran out of time. I had about 30 SATA questions with one math question and few EKG strips. I had so many questions about prioritizing patient care. I used kaplan review and did ALL the questions and trainers. In addition, I did questions from saunders and lippincott SATA. I had Nclex mystery app on my phone and I did those questions whenever I had a chance. I was really good with the priority questions through out my review. But I feel that I did soo bad on my nclex. I walked outta the exam room feeling shaky, sat in my car cried for good 30 mins. Drove to my house and didn't have to courage to get outta my car and face my family. So drove around the neighborhood and went to a park and cried my heart out again. I keep checking breeze over and over to see my name. It's been way over 72 hours and it still says Interim permit. I have not tried the pearsonvue trick with a correct credit card information. I read somewhere that if you use a wrong expiration date and it tells you that you need to check your credit card info .. means you failed. I did that and it told me to check my credit card information. Most of my friends who took the nuclei after me got a good news on breeze already. I am going crazy checking my breeze every 15 mins and its driving me insane. Should I just pay the $200 on pearson or wait? I am beating myself for this exam and feel that i tried so hard yet failed. I prayed every morning and prayed though out the exam. M so disappointed in myself... I have lost my appetite and cannot share my feelings with my friends or family. I feel miserable. So I am turning to my allnurses family for support and advise. Please help!!!! It's killing me inside knowing that i am probably the first and only one who failed in my class. Now I just don't know where to start? what to do?
